We try to do our bit for Community Service by promoting Green Practices locally & globally. We aspire to having our business practices promote what we preach. In order to get the word out on ways to make our gardens greener, Julie spoke at the following Chicago Venues:

February 2, 2009: Wicker Park Garden Club, "Practical Steps to Greening"

March 26, 2009: Lurie Garden, Millenium Park, "Sustainable Strategies for Greener Gardening" (click on "Featured Events, Lecture Series")

April 25, 2009, 2:30 pm: WBEZ's Worldview Global Activism Expo at Northeastern Illinois University

At the Global Activism Expo, we will be talking with people about the Earthways/AFOPADI Reforesting and Organic Agriculture Project in Guatemala.

To hear her follow-up Worldview interview about Julie's March 09 trip to Guatemala, listen here. (mp3)

To hear Julie discuss the Guatemalan project on the Worldview broadcast in August 2008, listen to the Podcast here.
